Guess I'll watch on line.  Was hoping it was Thursday.

My bad.  I thought they did it the week of the 75 game.  The 14th every year makes more sense.  Was hoping to catch in person.

  • I was around during the crash. It was obviously a terrible tragedy and I still have a visceral response looking at photos and articles but that being said I find the fountain ceremony to be pointless and have never attended one.
Others may well feel differently and likely do but I wonder if there are those in Administration that would like to stop it but don?t want to be the one. I agreed with the dude that wrote a similar take in the Parthenon or somewhere several years ago. Of course he was killed by local media including Woody and Paul I think on the radio.

Yeah, the 75 game is the 75 game just because it?s whatever home game happens to be closest to the 14th, whether it is before or after. The 75 game is something Holliday and Hamrick just made up a few years ago. The fountain ceremony came first by a long shot.

  • I am trying to finagle being back in Huntington for work early next week so I can make it to the ceremony.
