Soft ass Micah went for 14 and 14 tonight against Virginia.

Per the ESPN box score, Micah was a starter for UF. He played for only 26 minutes and fouled out of the game. Martin may be an OK player, but he is not as good as Micah. You have to remember that Martin was playing against Radord and Micah was playing against UVA. You can't compare Radford to UVA.

Was a really entertaining game to watch in 2nd half. Radford picked 2nd in Big South. Curfman almost single handedly got us to OT. Radford was without their two biggest players due to injury. DD right about this one...doomed by bad start. For as good as new guys were game 1, only one showed up tonight. Martin was terrific.

The venue was interesting to watch on TV. I kept thinking: "went to a wedding reception and a basketball game broke out". Kept waiting for the buffet to be served at halftime on the dance floor (court). But not too bad all things considered. I didn't think the advertising did much to make me want to stay at the resort although I have been there (didn't spend night). That 1970's antiquated decor of the ballroom and suites during commercials made me think Richard Nixon was going to walk in at any moment:).  I did love the commercial with former MU player Rondale Watson. Glad he is doing well.

Our shot selection very early in the game was generally horrible. No wonder we fell behind. We were taking rushed, poor form, off-balance garbage that didn't even come close to going in. Totally un-disciplined. Other parts of the game being equal, I would say overall this cost us the game.

After a loss Dan blames: travel (that trip from Huntington to the Greenbrier is brutal 😂😂😂), other team is more experienced and other team is more physical.

He has that down after 10 years.

I was as big a fan as anyone of Conner. He is long and has handles for his size. But I never realized how un aggressive he was. What does he bring? He was 0-2 zero points And 5 boards. He plays the game as a walk thru. The old saying let the game come to you? Well that is Jacob, but it seems the game never finds him.

Martin dominated Micah, when he played against him. I'd take martin all day. Sorry. Even when some of you said "yeah okay, martin a stud, hahahah. Right!"

We need a lot more scoring out of Kevon. He can't shoot that badly for us to have a chance to win. Steady Martin had a double 16/11 and continues to impress. We need another banger who can rebound. We were out rebounded by 10!

I agree. The problem is, we have coaches in both sports that are in over their heads. The outlook looks bleak for the two highest revenue sports. These issues need to be addressed.

I believe I mentioned this after the Queens game. I told my wife we needed more than 4 points and 4 fouls from Connor.

Yep. Voyles had a bad game, connor didn't show up at all and obinna didn't give us the rebounding wr needed. We can definitely play better and we will.

Do you really think Martin would starting for the University of Florida? If Martin was that good he would have been recruited by a P5 (he had no P5 portal offers) program instead of ending up at MU. I guess you know more than a SEC coach.

Don't know if one would dominate the other this year. I'm sure the Florida staff worked with Micah to get better in the paint. I personally think we are okay with Martin.

I live in Florida and watch part of the game. Micah has greatly improved and it is called good coaching.

Micah made the right choice. He will most likely be in the NBA. He has all the tools and Florida will max them out.

Correct, he looked good in the paint and his overall play has improved. Again, good coaching can improve a player. A good coach knows how to use players to win games.  I think Florida will be in the Big Dance this postseason.

I agree, he made the right decision to leave MU. If he was my son with his ability; I would had encouraged him to transfer and find a good coach who could develop him. If Micah keeps improving over the season I think he will be an NBA player.

Danny doesn't take advantage of anything. We could play a team of midgets and we would run our same stuff. There are no adjustments. We play Dannys style of free wheeling and it never changes. And getting outrebounded by them with their bigs out by 10 is unacceptable. But if rebounding isn't a priority then it happens.

Exactly. Don't forget, a couple here are just waiting to come spew their negativity and hate on Dan at all costs, whether warranted or not.

They say he can't recruit, yet he recruited our #1 and #2 all timers, and 2 more top 10s. He recruits and has good players, they get bought away and he brings in transfers they said he wouldn't

They say they all suck, which they clearly don't. He is in a tough situation and i think he put together a decent team. We don't have $400k to pay players. They have to want to come here for basically nothing.

No disrespect, but I am not sure about Radford being a "powerhouse" since we are talking about The Big South. They will not be a ranked team which is my definition of a "powerhouse".

By the way I did a quick check on the Big South in the NCAA Tournament. They have won two games for playin spots for the 16th seed for the first round position or game. Liberty and Winthrop each have one NCAA first round victories. I wouldn't rate the Big South as a mid major conference like the MAC.

My problem with MU football and basketball is they don't play of championships and are not relevant in those college sports. Thank goodness for soccer.
