There is no doubt the setting effected our shooting, it did both teams. However, Radford was the first to adjust to it and went inside, saw some baskets go in, and started hitting a few outside shots to take the big lead. To our credit, we made adjustments at half and started taking advantage of our size and turned the game around.
This is my problem with Danny, this adjustment should have been made in the first 8 minutes of the game, not half time. Too many times Voyles and Crawford tried to play hero ball and it cost us. Don't get me wrong I think both of these guys are good additions, but because they are transfers the coaching has to pick up and teach them so called "Hillbilly Ball" on a faster pace.
