Murrill was a Huntington city councilman and owned an upscale clothing store near the old Wiggins. He and his wife were on the plane crash. They were great people. Murrill was from Beckley and his wife was from Weirton and they left two small children. I found the below story from the Beckley newspaper about the aftermath for the family. His son is a graduate of the MU Edwards Medical School.

"On Nov. 14, 1970, Beckley native and Huntington resident Murrill Ralsten, 38, and his wife Helen, 32, a native of Weirton, boarded a chartered Southern Airways DC-9 jetliner, along with 73 others, including the Marshall University football team, for a return trip to Huntington following the Thundering Herd?s game against East Carolina."
