Their 6 wins are Stony Brook, UMass, and the bottom 4 teams in the West which is by far the weaker SBC division.

We certainly suck too, but you guys are overreacting to their 77 point outburst today. I bet we end up being the slight favorite when the spreads come out tomorrow and would be surprised if they're favored by more than 3.

What happens in that game will be determined more than anything by how much our team actually wants to go to a bowl.

Can't speak for the team, but I'd say that the vast majority of real HERD fans don't want to see ONE MORE SECOND of the poorly coached bumbling and inept train wreck that is the 2024 version of HERD Football!!  Much less another whole game, i.e., a bowl appearance, beyond the final regular season game next week which would only serve to give the entire nation an opportunity to witness the depths of ineptitude to which this once proud program has fallen, and continues to descend!!

Common opponents, they lost to Coastal by 10 and USA by 7. We lost by 22 and 28 to those teams.

Not correct.
It means that Vegas guesses that there'll be approximately the same amount of money placed on each team if Marshall is a -1.5 favorite.
If more money comes in on the Herd than anticipated, then the line will become more negative.

Ark St opened the season with a road loss to Okahoma 73-0 and then lost at home to Memphis 37-3. Since they are in second place in the SBC, it shows you that the SBC West and even the East is weak this season.

I wouldn't be surprised if we win by 30 or lose by 30. This team either shows up playing hard or doesn't seem to care at all.

I'll be there. I don't see how you don't say Thank You to Owen Porter, Eli Neal, Michah Abraham, etc. if you consider yourself a Hard fan...but that's just me. If they make a bowl game, I'll be happy to watch.
