  • With Duke's Mike Elko going to Texas A&M, could Coach Huff interview again for the Duke job?

I would say if they look at the Sunbelt, then they would be inclined to interview Cignetti. He has a little hotter hand at this time. I would also think Duke may promote within for a smooth transition. Kevin Johns would be the likely candidate Duke would give the job to. Johns' offenses have been very productive wherever he has landed.

Johns also spent time at a similar academic school in Northwestern and he did well as OC at Indiana which is a school where basketball is favored over football.

  • I think this is a good move to keep Huff one more year to see what happens.
I think it?s fair, and I do think Huff will be a good HC one day. Hopefully that starts now.
The right way is always the right way- Coach Huff

  • Coaching is a difficult career.  Half of the profession will lose each week.  I am surprised A&M hired Elko.  Duke faded as the year went along.  He will not win there.  I am eager to see what Huff does with his staff.
