Per 247 Sports Marshall fires OC Clint Trickett, WRs coach Jovon Bouknight, o-line coach Bill Legg and LBs coach Shannon Morrison
I hope MU has a plan in place to replace them.
You lost me at "I hope MU has a plan......."
i have to admit, like it or not, Spears acts decisively compared to past ADs
I was hoping the DC would also be gone but it is what it is.
I agree with being decisive, however, when Smith and Spears came on board we felt they were the answer to our problem, then came the decision on DD. Now things in our two major sports are in sad shape, some of this may be Spears covering his back side.
Dan's not going anywhere this year. nobody in their right mind would give someone a 3-year contract & then can 'em after year 1 with a 2-year buyout.
I wonder how much is being paid, the last number I heard was $250K? If Dan really loves MU as everyone says he does, he would not accept the buyout and give the money back to MU.
As a father I see what Danny is doing here. We all want to make our kids comfortable.

not saying i can agree or disagree.according to what i've seen/read, Spread Offenses have been dominate in CFB for about a decade. it might stand to reason that the DC job is the most difficult. even though everybody plays with the same deck of cards, Ds are naturally at a disadvantage before any snap by not having the element of surprise. add just one element of potentially many hurdles- the fact your offense can't stay on the field for a reasonable length of time, the task just got harder. Huff has had way better Ds than most of his peers considering offenses may arguably be at an historic peak of success
