  • Personally, I liked Trickett as a person.  But, I'm so glad we are rid of displaced WVU hand me down coaches.  Even Snyder had one.

I'm excited for some fresh blood in the coaching department.

Does such event also call for a thorough extermination and disinfectant treatment of ALL Football premises??

    Good question.

Once Chickeers get established they're more irritating and harder to get rid of than bed bugs.

  • Best thing we have done in ages.  Ejecting all wvu trash from Huntington    should be a new policy going forward.  Mr Spears please take note!!!

  • I'm not a WVWho fan at all, but if a guy can coach and have The Herd contending for championships again I couldn't care less where he is from.

i agree.  not being open to hiring someone just b/c they've played/coached at wvu is just as dumb as insisting someone have marshall ties.  just hire the most qualified coach.

  • I agree hire the best coaches and we simply don't, we hire former WVU coaches, because they need jobs and we have openings.

We could bring back Doc and Legg and hell I think Don Nehlen is still alive.  He doesn't lose to the "Marshalls" of the world, but he might take our money and run us in the ground just for fun.

If they were great coaches they would have gone somewhere else annd done something after Marshall.  They come here to catch the attention of WVU to get hired anway and to get a paycheck.  When WVU doesn't hire them and they never do, then they sit on the staff until we run them off and the product on the field suffers.

  • Who cares about Trickett.  Huff was stupid when he brought in Legg.  If someone has been run out of a town once, you usually don't invite them back.  Sure Legg is a great guy, but he hasn't done ANYTHING great in Huntington.

There is a difference between hiring their guys that moved on to better things and hiring their guys that got pushed out because they weren't good enough for them.  And I was only for hiring Rich to piss them off.  Would have been worth it if he never won a game here.
