Duke's HC just moved on to become Texas A&M's new HC. Huff leaving for Duke would seem to be the most logical next step for him. Another rung on the ladder to where he really wants to be (big P5 program).
Strong possibility that Duke promotes from within in order to keep the staff intact. Didn't read the article on that but saw the "blurb" on yahoo sports yesterday.
Now that I think about it, I believe I saw that blurb, too.Houston could be a possible destination for Huff. They are now a "P5" school with tons of money/resources and located in a big city.
Forgot about Houston. Wonder how long that conference will keep P5 status in football?
Strange things going on down in the Shewey.
such as?
It seems the HC is still looking, fired 4 coaches immediately after the Ark St game (one within 10 minutes, I'm told). Landon suspects Spears made the firings. How can a HC operate like that? Just have a feeling there's more going on. I mean, paint it however you want, just seems like strange stuff to me.
What get to me is that he keeps Dan. I just it is just politics to keep Dan around or MU doesn't care about men's basketball.
Sean Lewis will apparently be the next head coach of San Diego State.
Heck of a great hire by them. Wish we had him. As to basketball, one family(donors) controls that program. You would think they would put away egos and such if they really wanted what was best for said program and the school they supposedly love.
Maybe they think it's the best that can be achieved at MU?

JMU fans saying Cignetti is in the mix for Duke and Indiana. Indiana is a career killer though.
Cignetti is 62 though. 5 year 15-16 million deal would be nice going into retirement or if he has success, add more $$$
