  • This is a loss.  Big size that was underused.

  • I figured we would lose a few tight ends since Huff brought in several from the portal for last season and we now have six left in the program. Not a great loss, he only had 5 receptions for 51 yards and one TD. I guess the other TE were getting more playing time so he's leaving. I don't blame him, he is looking for playing time. He was a RS Fr.  Some of the remaining TE are larger in size than Sallis and were mostly used in blocking situations.

Future.  Had incompetent OC.  Need to get back to using TE

  • We have Conley, Payne and a few others. We'll be fine. Sucks for the bowl game though. Frankly, not sure why a decent TE would come here, rarely throw them the ball. jmo

Same can be said about WRs.
In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.

Even fewer throws more than 3 yards past the line of scrimmage.

  • Salis could score a lot of TDs if used right.

We may end up throwing more with Ali likely gone and a new OC.  This would be the year for skill players with hands to stick around and see what's op IMO.
