Officiating: Lot of generous calls for the Marshall ladies. Unfortunately any attempts to even things out resulted in 2-3 horrible calls against the Herd in the 4th. But, water under the bridge now.

Mahogany "Tree" Matthews, Beeman, "Soup" Campbell, and Alasia "Purple Hayes" all had big games for Marshall. Others contributed as well.

That's a seriously good win. WBB is headed toward a bright future.

They really showed tremendous resiliency and mental toughness to battle. It seems Caldwell is finding the proper rotations. It seemed time and time again that they just couldn't get over the hump today. But that last few minutes was just hell in a cell.

I think they really found something inside with Matthews today. She went against some real big girls out there today, but she made them honor her defensively which is what this team needs. Maier gave us some good defensive minutes with 5 rebounds.

Beeman hit some big threes to get us back in it when we were down 9. She is a real leader out there.

I think the early road games hurt our record, but may help us more in conference play. We will be real tough to beat in conference at home and I think the ladies know they need more energy when out on the road.

That was fun to watch and the crowd was really into it. I wish more people had come out. I am happy for Kim.

Marshall's ESPN+ productions in general have lost a step since Jake Griffith left.
That includes announcing and camera work.

Watching the NDSU-Montana State playoff game. Everything about the telecast is professional.

After the debacle at OVC Morehead to come back and knock off SEC Florida, I am beyond proud of them.

I didn?t watch it live but will go back and watch it tomorrow. Glad we got the win. This could be the win that ends up being the turning point for the season.

Wonder if we would have had more of there wasn't a men's game at 7. People don't want to go to the arena twice in a day. Great win. I'm excited about women's basketball.

I saw a post on FB by MU Athletics saying"1st first P5 Win Since '07". I guess MU didn't consult with HerdFans resident expert on P5 basketball teams. Ducking 

I also received an email from MU about the win and for fund raising for the Women's team.
