Our defense, particularly help defense, SUCKS BIG TIME!!  Slow on switches, etc., etc.  Miami's Coach should just have his team take it inside, to the hole, on EVERY possession.  Unless we start hitting about 75% from three-point land, can't see us winning this one any other way.  Too many overall deficiencies, weaknesses on both sides on the ball for this HERD squad!!

Voyles is struggling so far this year.. He gets his points but he takes a lot of shots to get them and a lot of times they aren't great shots. Curfman is also been pretty cold to start the year out.

Our best player is Martin. Dude doesn't do anything flashy but he is gonna give you 12-14 points and 8-10 rebounds every single night.

D'Antoni's WHOLE offensive philosophy is predicated on 3-pt. shooting.  Per Steve Cotton on radio broadcast we are shooting 26% on 3s so far this season!!!

Says a whole lot about Danny's abilities as a Division 1 recruiter, doesn't it?  Deficiencies in other areas of the Herd game speaks volumes about him as a legitimate D1 Coach!!

Absolutely.
Defensively, this season's team is actually pretty good. Runnng the actions, they do a half-way decent job of that.
But offensive talent is lacking. No matter the system, a baskeball team has to make baskets.

Really ? This is a horrible team on D. They are slow on help D . They are slow on switching. They are slow on getting to loose balls. How is that good Defense. They block a shot occasionally.Big deal.

I was at the game and with 3:02 to play we were down 18.  I turned to my friend and said that we could still win the game.  He thought I was crazy.  If Conner could have hit the three-pointer he shot with 13 seconds left we would have been down one point and it's anyone's game.  I've read all the comments but I've not seen any props to the players who did not quit, even though half of the Henderson Center left with 3:02 to play.  Yes, for the most part it was a stinker of a game but some huge credit has to be given to the team for not losing by 25!
