This is why I do not like hiring former Herd legends. Most of the time you are going to give them longer than they should have and your program becomes stagnant (see Greg White). With Danny it is worse. Even if the AD wanted to fire him, I don't think he can. Danny just has too many "very influential" supporters behind him, and no AD is going to commit suicide over irate internet fans.
Sadly, our only hope is he resigns, or somebody can convince him to do so. I hope I am wrong, but just don't see him getting fired. And as a result, we will continue to be a stagnant program, at best.
