After a slow start, Troy smoked App State. 

Good game, competitive.  Made me miss a good offensive line, opening holes and pass blocking.  Defensive battle for a good part of the game.

In watching some of the action, I thought that same thing re: the O line play.  Thought that the O lines of both teams were a significant notch above Marshall's.

TROY has a very good HC.  Rebuilt the program quickly.

i'm glad troy (i.e. west) has won these last 2.  it's a bad enough look that a transitioning team has really won the east the last 2 years, but it'd be even worse if we had a 2nd place team in a division be SBC champs.

Didn't see much of the game. What I saw early was some hard-hitting defense from both sides. It was 14-7 af halftime if the ticker at the bottom of the screen was correct in the Georgia/Alabama game. Giovanni's did not have the SBC game on. I was surprised when I saw the final score.
