If you listen to the post game after the Miami game, Dan mentioned that Cam isn't playing within our system and that it is his call. Mentioned he is talented, but he needs to play within our system (whatever that means).

If you watch any practices, Cam just plays ISO ball and when he gets the ball it is a black hole because he is shooting it no matter what.

Funny, because Voyles is the same way, but he at least plays some defense.

So what DD is saying is Cam needs to jack up more ill advised 3's, turn the ball over more often, play soft D, and get pushed around by smaller, but more aggressive opponents?  That should be easy to do.

Well Dan also mentioned that Voyles is going to have to play better defense and why he has seen minutes cut. So it seems Voyles isn't the defensive guy that some thought. But it's odd that Dan says Crawford shoots to much lol when everyone has always had a green light to shoot from half court.

I do find it odd that Danny is setting standards now after the circus shots and 35 footers launched thru the years. But this team is missing Taylor and Kinsey way more than people thought. At least Taylor kept the offense moving and had an identity. Now it's like a ship without an engine just drifting around.

Taylor wanted to be the hero. Shot way too many bad shots and was not disciplined one time. From what has been posted, that punishment is happening at Miss State. Dan now saying someone needs to play within the system is a joke.

I agree about Taylor. But like I said, at least the offense was getting up and down the floor and those 2 made things happen. Last years team really fell off at the end but it would handle this team with ease. And if Taylor was on this team it would have its faults but it would be way better than the cluster we have now with no PG at all.
