  • I was looking at the roster on Herdzone and looked at his profile, potential starter, listed at 5-9 15 pounds, little light wouldn't you say? That will strike fear in our opponents.

  • He is a former 4-star recruit for North Carolina. Most slot receivers aren't real big and can be tough to defend if they are fast and can run routes.

We have had some pretty productive receivers over the decades that were 5'10" and under.

  • I think Troy Brown was listed at 5'10." I have met Troy. If he is 5'10" I am 6'2".

  • Herdzone.com needs to proofread before posting profiles.
Maybe they do that with the Herdzone+ for $9.99 a month.

by the way, there are 4 safeties listed.  i think they are trying to compete numbers-wise with the QB group 🙄

He might be the fastest guy on the team.  I would be worried if I had to cover him.  He?s put up faster times than Ali.

Wide receiver Tychaun Chapman, a 5-foot-9, 165 pound wide receiver and running back from Virginia Beach?s Princess Anne High, committed to the Tar Heels, choosing North Carolina over Florida State, Alabama, Maryland and Penn State. In addition to his final five schools, Chapman had offers from close to two dozen other programs, including Oregon, Oklahoma and USC.

Chapman lined up in the backfield, slot and out wide on offense and also returned kicks, showing the ability to produce game-breaking plays.

Chapman is a multi-sport athlete, who also competes in track and field, where he posted a 6.42 55-meter dash. That speed is evident when watching his film. The speedy and shifty athlete has elite burst and quickness off the line as well as another gear to pull away from defenders downfield. His stellar speed and elusiveness is also effective running the ball on jet sweeps and up the middle, where he?s elusive

High school in Va runs the 55m / College runs the 60m

Chapmans 6.42 in the 55m is equal to 6.95 in the 60m dash.  Exactly around what Ali ran the 60m dash in.  I do think Chapman is probably faster than Ali by now.  The fastest guys in college track run the 60m dash in the 6.5-6.6 range.  Chapman would probably be the fastest guy on Marshalls track team bc Herd is not a competitive D1 fast men?s team.

Chuck Montgomery has 96 speed.  Hopefully Montrel Beard shows up and plays for us in real life.
