JMU 70- UNC 50. UNC had 3 fumbles and 2 interceptions. Hard to beat anyone with 5 turnovers. Total offense was nearly even for both teams UNC had 616 yards and JMU had 611 yards. A so so UVA is beating home-standing CCU 37-10 with about 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Tulane beat LA on the road 41-33. Arkansas State is losing on the road to #20 Iowa State 38-0 with about 5 minutes left in the third quarter.

SBC is not too impressive at the start of this season.

CCU loses at home to UVA 43-24, UVA was inside CCU 10 yard line at the end of the game and took a knee instead of scoring another TD.

Winless Jacksonville State is beat Southern Miss 44-7.

The SB is not impressive at all except maybe Texas St. don't know what all the clamor over CCU was? They are average at best. App St is trash. I like our chances if we stay focused and just keep meshing.

I watched Coastal on replay this week against Temple. They had a lot of struggles with a really bad Temple team. UVA got dominated in the second half at home against a Maryland team that lost a lot. I watched that game and thought UVA was a bad football team. If Coastal is losing that bad at home to UVA, then there is no reason we can't beat them at home.

Arkansas st losing to Iowa at 45-0. CCU getting killed by. Bad Virginia team. JMU beat a bad NC team and JMU barely got by Gardner Webb. Jacksonville st is killing SMiss. Louisiana lost. App St got humiliated.

A few more scores from yesterday. #1 Texas 51-3 over UL Monroe. #5 Ole Miss 52-13 over GA Southern. Troy 34-12 over FAMU. JMU 70-50 over UNC and South Bama beat Appy 48-14. Not a good day for the SBC.

FWIW; at least we were the only SBC team to hold ranked team to under 50 points and we scored the highest amount of point against a ranked team that day. Just comparing scores, we might have a chance to finished up the season with a winning record.

In other G5 games WKU beat Toledo 26-21 and Liberty beat ECU 35-24 and Liberty is now 4-0.  Army and Navy are both 3-0.

Not to mention UNC had their 3rd string QB in all game and still scored 50. Wait till JMU sees any sort of Defense at all.

Good coaches leaving and best players being taken.  Herd always has a chance.   Our players will always be equal to best SBC teams.  Do we have the right players at the right spots.  If we don?t run all over the SBC with our ol wrong gameplan.  They handled Osu just fine.   Good ol coach.  Massive upgrade.

Won't say Temple is good by any stretch, but they did beat Utah St which gave Uah a decent game last week.  A win vs any AAC team is a good win that the conference needs.
