  • For what?  Reporting on their premium forum what they've been told.  USM people are the ones that leaked this stuff. HN mods have just been trying to run down what's going on and relaying what they've been told.  That's what you do and people over there pay for.

Huff may stay, but he is 100% in talks with USM.  Sorry.  Correction.  His agent is.

As a general rule in life, I hate gossip. What Herd Nation did here has certainly not helped Marshall one bit.

Only helped Herd Nation get a boost in traffic. They are a business, not a news organization. And the way they handled this, to me at least, has only hurt Marshall.

I could be completely off base, but that's how it appears to me on the surface.

  • Interestingly enough, 24/7 new future cast has him going to Purdue.

  • We will be fine. Rebuilds are fun. We just need to hire a winner from lower level.  Easy peasy.

Only chance that next year isn't a long one is if we do a so miss type hire, that is hire a successful g5 coach that brings his players like Rrod.  Hope there are others out there.

  • Folks are acting like we're losing prime Nick Saban lol

    We'll be fine either way

    This ^^^ 100%.

If Huff would have lost one more conference game this season many of those same people would demand he get fired immediately and forced to walk home.

And yet we didn't. I think people really don't appreciate what we've had.

It is the Marshall way, don't appreciate what we have and then in fight amongst ourselves.

Their information stayed on the paid board, until a USM fan screenshot and posted it on social media. They have also have had media credentials before btw and published stories usually during spring and fall camp.

Say what you want but they are at least reporting things and sticking to their guns.
They were also the first to report Dan wasn't coming back a week before he was canned, and reiterated it the Friday before, and that Monday broke the story.
Sounds like they actually have good sources and provide information to their customers (like what the HD, Gazette, and daily mail used to do).

  • Just wait till Ian Foster is next.  He?s the stud on the team.

I think Ian Foster will get big NIL from some major, much like Jayden Harrison.

  • My concern is if he turned us down twice. Maybe he really does not want to be here. Eventually, he may get hired elsewhere. Which is fine, but what state does he leave us in when he does? If his heart is not in the right place for the University and program. It may be a little worse for wear.
