  • You better hold onto the proven HC you got.  Most HC do not win in D1.  Huff is legit.  The next MU AC hire is about to find out it?s hard - very hard!  What you have accomplished as an AC does not mean %^&* except you are good handling small responsibilities.  Things a good HC can do in his/her sleep.
Ain?t Huff ..... EDDIE GEORGE!!!   Herd Admin blundered it ... AD Target Search man and school philosophy.

We let go of Doc and then hired Huff (a RB coach) who has pretty much kept the same level of football Doc had.

Wish people would stop acting like Huff is an amazing coach and that it isn't Huff who has been wanting to move on.  Win or lose we were not holding onto Huff.  Even if we extended him if he wasn't paoched for winning the conference thos year if we made it back he would have then.

There's a post on Herd Nation breaking down Huff's tenure.  It's a ton of stats and none are all that impressive.

  • Best coach since Pruett ..... with enormous upside.  Herd blunder not retaining Huff or negotiating with Eddie George that they wouldn?t even think about bc of MU targeted search philosophy.  Do I know 100% .... no ..... but TG ain?t winning.  He certainly is not beating caliber of Notre Dame @ Notre Dame like a drum.  He thinks Cam Fancher is a great passing Qb.

Lol.  You can think Huff was, but his numbers say different.  It also isn't a coincidence that he finally "broke through" the same year that App and Costal fell off.

Also while that ND win was awesome I can give you several mire horrible losses and choke jobs.

I'm thrilled we won at JMU and hoping we win Saturday, but Huff is no better than Doc and at times he's barely better than Snyder.

Hell no - better than everyone after Pruett.  Not even close.  31-20. Beat teams OOC that I picked him to win ..... excuse me ..... even Notre Dame ..... cough cough.   In a G5 Conference in the East considered better than CUSA.  Give me a break.  Can?t convince me to satisfy the company line.  Huff is good and so is Eddie George.  Huff almost best TG with sorry Cam Fancher.   Mu Blunder Herd

I can?t.  This is all ridiculous. These coaching pick people need relinquished of this responsibility.  They stink at it.  Been at it too long .... outdated mindset.  Worse than a skunk beside you.  Awful.
