1 of the 2 things is going on. Either we cant afford/or the university does not care which looks bad to the players

OR Huff?s staff is telling the players lies that the university does not care about them and telling them to transfer

The players are transferring because they think the university does not care about them. Is it because the university does not care or is it because they are being told lies

Coaches can build a team during 1 to 2 seasons. I mean the last two years we have had 40 some new players and 45 some new players. Imagine it will be similar to JMU and we will replace 60 some.

Is what it is with coaching turnover with portal and nil.

We will see. Basketball collapsing, football is a national laughing stock after Huff wins the conference and administration screwed that up. Drink the koolaide.

"National laughingstock"... literally no ripples were made nationally by what happened. 99% of college football fans do not know nor care about that.

I think we are two years away from a big football season. I expect us to be competent and compete in the East next year. Everyone is year to year. Everyone in the SBC is on the same foot. Right now?  It's tough. The Independence Bowl is a great bowl and we got a great opponent. Unfortunately it's at exactly the wrong time against exactly the wrong opponent. But last year's bowl was a dumpster fire. I commend Huff for fixing that so quickly.

Basketball is not good right now, but you got your biggest wish there after last season. The one people warned you wouldn't be so simple. I truly feel Corny is going to become a really good coach and I'm 100% willing to accept this is going to be a bumpy season. I expect the program will be much more stable next season. That's when we can truly start to judge his ability to accumulate talent. I expect us to show improvement this season, too. I just suspect it will be inconsistent.

We have a sport that is getting ready to compete at the highest level it can next weekend. You're allowed to be happy and to focus on the good things while acknowledging the bad.

We are going up another level.  Our new HC got us.  No worries about that.  But people are truly underestimating how hard it is to win championships.  Few coaches are capable.  What?s Portnoy think .... feed him free Huntington 🍕 for the blues
