  • Can we not act like Marshall basketball has been a powerhouse lol. Collapsing? Up until Dan got there I didn't know what winning looked like very well for the Herd. It was cool, but this is normal.

We are back to the Freeman years. Actually the team has less talent than then.

  • Huff was an azz and the way he has exited proves that.

  • Huff was brought to MU to win a championship.  He won one like he was hired to do besides graduate players and keep them out of trouble.  He did good and he knows he?s good because his resume proves this.  He?s gone.  And the new HC has a tough act to follow bc he has college playoff expectations.

  • Come on man, bust knows better than Smith

    😂😂😂😂

Don't say sarcastic things about Bust. he is a god like legend unto himself.  He is right. He is always right and no one dare disagree with him.  He is always right until he realizes he is wrong, then he will do a 180 turn on a dime and tell you how wrong you are far saying what he used to say.  He has a spine with the strength and consistency of Jello.  Don't make fun of bust like you just did. He is a god within his own mind.

  • There will be a banquet. Peanut cost.

    Yes, there will be.

Some (ex)employees suddenly want Marshall football to fail because their feelings were hurt.  Make no mistake about it, this staff wanted to stay at Marshall but overplayed their hand.  Now some, and their agents, are acting in an unprofessional and unethical manner.

  • Huff got us to this bowl. You may have forgotten.

I've come to the realization that you are so blinded, you literally don't even read closely enough to form a coherent response. You just blurt out nonsense. Never questioned the job Huff did this year and commended Huff for the drastic turnaround from last year. But you didn't read that far because you wanted to fire back. You're too busy being miserable.

I have confidence we will be really good in two years. I have no more to prove that will be correct than you have to prove it will be incorrect. Just confidence that we got a good football coach. I am interested in the staff he will be able to put together. With the seemingly unlimited "analyst" jobs out there, the pool of experienced coaches is much smaller than it was even five years ago. That will go a long way toward backing up the current feeling of confidence.

Also it's "Kool-Aid."  Gatorade has the "e" at the end.

    You're welcome. Go Herd.

  • They usually have these fundraiser banquets in the spring, via the big green, where many former and current players are invited back to celebrate the accomplishments and meet fans.  I've been to several.  The players just don't know the format because they haven't won anything until now.  That's probably why the tweet was removed.   Someone told him.

But sure, use a simple misunderstanding to make a whole thread speculating that we're broke and on the cheap etc.

The big green and qb functions/dinners are totally separate from the end of the year football banquet that they've had in the past.  They had one last year.
