  • Late in the season, everyone is banged up, but dos Santos was a shadow of himself the whole game.  1st team All-American and he just couldn't do anything.  What a shame.  Would have made a huge difference up top if he was healthy.

    Agree

It's a shame, but it is what it is

I fully expect Grassie to reload and make another run

  • We need to be quicker overall and more stout physical. Bamford worked his butt off, as did Fujita before he got hurt.

Great season. Proud of these kids. Really enjoy watching them play. A top national program  we can be very proud of

  • Making the championship is just as good as winning it for recruiting purposes.  Gives you the "with you, we could go all the way" argument.  Nice to feel like you're the missing piece of the puzzle.

  • You know, we went to the game and really enjoyed it. Wish we would have won...but I feel great having made it to another national championship.

  • Our team has left Raleigh.
We should be arriving around 5 pm,
Let's let the team have no doubt how much we appreciate their efforts.
Top 5 or so the last two years,
    National Champions.
    National runners up.
    Last 5 years.
They are planting seeds today that will grow The Marshall University brand!

Will they arrive at Hopps or on campus?

  • Looking at the roster, we lose the following:

    Bamford
    Vukovic
    Rodrigues dos Santos
    Okiyoshi
    Pannholzer
    Sordo
    Simon
    Sekiguchi

Be interesting to see who Grassie can get to transfer in and make an immediate impact.

I also know we already got a commitment from someone currently in one of the big international clubs. I want to say he?s in the Manchester United club but not positive.

Then as you said, I?m sure we will get some more transfers as well.

    We are a soccer powerhouse.

  • Need a couple of quick, physical defenders, an ace MF to take over of Oshi and a scoring machine. Easier said than done I know.

Highest rated recruit Chris has ever had (David de la Vibora) is normally a left back.  He'll be here for 2025.

We lose a lot of talent, but we have a lot of talent coming back, and I'm sure Grassie will bring in more ballers.

Reload and go for it again

Did he put up good numbers for them? Just curious.

Started 19/20 games. Averaged 82 minutes a match. Six goals, five assists on the season. Helped the Sharks to a second consecutive NCAA berth.

We sure could have used him this year.
