My biggest worry about Gibson that Huff did not do is not sell our program short in recruiting.  Recruit top players.  They will come here.  NFL likes Marshall just as much as they like any other program he has coached at.  Get us good players please. And get back and pay the ones that went in the portal.  There are some good ones.

Looks similar to Bralon Brown's numbers before coming to Marshall.  He had only 3 receptions for 44 yards over 3 seasons.  Also, it looks like Baldwin was moved to safety last year.  Granted he didn't hardly play on defense either.

Huff didn't sell us short??

Did he just think our offense didn't need a QB his 1st 3 yrs here?  I missed the "top recruits" he brought in to play the most important position.

& PK, normally 1 of your leading scorers?  Guess he didn't think he could convince a kicker to come here either.

Huff won a championship. He really won.  He also was one of the top Portal recruiters in the country. He is real .... he did really good things at MU.  Imagine another year of Huffs recruiting with Braxton at QB!  We are talking CFB playoffs G5 favorite, but now we are fighting for a .500 season.   AD fell asleep and Admin doubted Huff.  TG needs to be able to recruit as good as Huff, field coach better and get us in the playoffs which was our next step.  Anything less is a monumental miscalculated failure by MU.  But what people saying about the AD I?m understanding and if true the A. department is in shambles.  Drain the swamp.

Huff is an arrogant person that doesn?t play well with others. He?s not just a coach but represents the school. We are better off without him.

Well, he did have some issues at QB.  First year, wells talented but not reliable and left. Second year, wins 9 with combo of Columbi Fancher and beat ND...not too bad. 3rd year starts 5-1 with the much criticized Fancher then ended up around .500 after Fancher hurt.  This year, championship and 10 wind with Braxton... not too bad.

He did have bad luck with injury and getting QBs is on him. I wonder if it would have been a tad easier without a Marshall royalty legacy holding one of scholarships despite not being D1.

Can you imagine the hate from our fans if he sent Cole packing? Probably be worse than having a flashy wife and job interviews.  Oh and why does no one question CP hitting portal after Huff not renewed?
