I just saw where he told a player in the portal to "come to the Herd" on X.

Looks like he is currently the DB coach at HHS. He used to be the youth pastor at JJ Roberts' Dad's church in Nitro.

I didn't say that.... I asked if anyone knew. Not sure why he would be telling a WVU kid from Martinsburg in the transfer portal to come to Marshall.

Chad Pennington was Kentucky High School coach of the year this year.  Bob Pruett cut his teeth in high school.

I would love to have some Marshall alums coaching, I figured it would be a revolving door of WVU hand-me-down coaches

FYI, Bob was a very successful high school coach in Northern Virginia before he became a college assistant coach.

Not sure if Koolaid is joining the staff but I will say that he is one of the finest people you will ever meet. Great family guy.

I took the post to be a native WV, Herd alumni football player encouraging a talented WV native football player to join the Herd, not as an official offer to play at Marshall.  With that said, Clement would be a nice addition to the 2025 Marshall roster.
