By Gary FauberAssistant Sports EditorEvery coach in Conference USA is aware of how good Ahmad Bradshaw really is.Alabama-Birmingham’s Watson Brown got a nice view of it Saturday night.Bradshaw’s 242-yard night highlighted Marshall’s much-needed 31-24 win over the Blazers. He scored two more touchdowns, from 26 and 67 yards, giving him five in his last three games. The 242 yards bested his previous career high of 187, set last season in a loss to East Carolina. The total is the third-best in school history, and Bradshaw is just the seventh Marshall player ever to rush for over 200 yards. It was the first 200-yard game by a Marshall back since Chris Parker went for 202 in a 33-9 win over East Tennessee State on Nov. 6, 1993.Marshall coach Mark Snyder said in the preseason that there is no reason Bradshaw can’t be a 1,000-yard back in C-USA. He now has 863 yards with five games remaining.“We have said all along that he is a really good football player and he is going to continue to get better,” Snyder said.“We’re doing some things on offense to focus on his strengths and we had success with that tonight.”
