Several posters, from a few different Herd message boards are reporting the same thing.  WSAZ and apparently WOWK reported that Snyder will be named tomorrow.

THF, you have definetly have the spirit. WOWK, at one time was pro MU. Now, WoWK, is the last source in the tri-state area. They are the worst. I would never trust them for any information. If, WSAZ, MOREHOUSE, say's it is going to happen, than it is going to happen. Mark it down!
He, will always have the scoupe at MU. He, has always deserved it. He is a very professional journalist.

Plugging the Leak: One of the major turning points in the game against Marshall was OSU's ability to stop the Herd on a fake field goal attempt in the third quarter. According to OSU defensive coordinator Mark Snyder, Marshall's call would have been a good one...last week.
The OSU coaching staff saw a fault in the Buckeye kick-block scheme last week and took steps to remedy it. The Marshall staff saw the flaw too, but didn't know OSU had made the scheme change to remedy the fault. The result was that Marshall ran right into the strength of a retooled OSU kick block scheme.

I'm not going to cry.....it became apparent to me that Marcum was an imcompetent AD.......so I'm not that upset about it anymore.

I'm ready to move on....and Snyder looks like he was the best candidate outside of Donnan.

A/Kenny, I like your spirit, and don't won't to have trouble, but Donnan is still at ESPN, making 50-$100,000 per yer less than Snyder now.  

Marcum, has did one of the most brilliant jobs of handling this very delicate situation, IMHO, that has "ever" been accomplished by an athletic director at MU since 1837. Coach, Robert, Kayo, KO, Bob Marcum, my hat  is off to you sir. You are one sharp guy. The likes of which this University has never had before, and will take several more years before they understand how much you have done for them. I, personally ThankYou, and say,

Snyder to become new Marshall coach

Huntington, WV-- - It's been talked about on street corners and barber shops, in sports bars and fitness centers: who will be Marshall's next football coach?NewsChannel 3 has learned it will be a familiar name to Marshall fans.

Sources have confirmed to WSAZ that the next football coach at Marshall University will be former star player and Ohio State Defensive Coordinator Mark Snyder.

Marshall is expected to make the announcement official at a news conference Thursday morning. Snyder has a lot of ties to this area and has made no secret about his desire to get the Marshall job.

Snyder is from Ironton, played his high school football for Bob Lutz at Ironton, and also starred at Marshall.Now the 40 year old is coming home to coach his alma mater.
