    You are right, Vick is not so smart, but I think he could get them cheaper from Iraq.

  • The article has nothing to do w/FoxNews.  I saw the same artilce on the Clinton News Network(CNN).  I didn't know there were some left wing -kooks on the boards here. 8-)

    Getting back to the original question....

    When your neighbor gets a DUI, nary a peep from any news source... when Nicole Ritchie gets one, it does make the news.

    Why is THAT? (If you answer the latter, it seems you answer the former....)

    1. She's famous.

    2. It get ratings.

    3. To raise the public consciousness of the dangers of driving while intoxicated.

    4. To further a politically partisan agenda of the news source.

    Two answers seem likely... two answers seem remote, at least where this story is concerned. And I guess I'd just add some personal commentary...

    Lighten up... it may be funny, it may not be that funny, but it shouldn't provoke any deep discussion about journalism.

    I don't think anyone was inferring that a serious discussion of journalism included Fox News and this story. :lol:
