  • than I was in the 70's.  I am so sad for the players, other fans and myself I could ...............

But at some point I keep telling my self it is only a football game.  Too bad my heart doesn't listen to my mind and mouth.

Just maybe we are too wrapped up in all this.

Herd FB has returned to the level of play in the '70's.  Perhaps they have bad mojo from the movie.

  • I have to say that boys I agree.  I never in my life 35 yrs. have sat around and thought that we had no chance of winning instead of tonight.  Even during the ECU (fort worth) I bet a !@#$@# that we would come back and i got my 50 2.  Now Im defeated that was the last straw we officall belong on the bottom 10 maybe 1.

  • I hate to admit it, but I don't hurt as much now as in the past. I expect  this team to play poorly - and I never get surprised. I didn't get my hopes built up for last night's game, so I wasn't  so upset at the end.

  • I met a girl last night at the game who said she went to Marshall for 4 years and never saw Marshall lose until last night.  I said 'You might as well get used it"

Even I couldn't believe what I had said.

I don't know if I feel this bad because I'm sick or just so sick at heart.

  • I was numb after last year.

I saw BAD mistakes in 2005 made by the coaches, but I figured it was Snyders first year and he will grow and improve.

I saw no improvement in 2006.  And, I saw no improvement from the players  to speak of.  I saw nothing to give me any hope for this year.  Granted, I didn't think it be an 0-12 year.  I figured we would win 3-5, I figured a good year would be 6-6.

I don't know.  Still might win a game or 2, but I don't the herd will be favorites in any game.

    Its really really really sad.

    And, nothing is being done.

I still do see some players on offense.  I see some a couple of players on D, I'm not sure our D speed is there however.

  • Well...we could always blame Bobby P or Bill Clinton. That seems to work when we can't take responsibility for our inability to do the job.
This team has no leadership. No one to light a fire. That goes for the coaches too.

  • Exactly, the same coaching errors, bad play calling, poor mental and fundamental errors by the players in game 5 as in game 1, this is getting ridiculous. I know we are young and have injuries but Memphis had as many starters out as we did. I am tired of excuses, they are for losers.
Snyder needs to get some advise from other coaches accross the country on what to do, BUT NOT Jim Tressel. I am beginning to think Mark is in over his head.

  • I agree. Normally after a Herd loss I would be upset for days on end. Now it takes about 10-15 minutes. It's pretty sad a lot of fans have become accustom to losing. I know I have.

You picked right up on that did ya?

2.5 years ago most of us thought Mark may be in a little over his head. He removed all doubt by the end if his first year.
