At the end of the game last night I was really blaming the players for the loss. I thought the coaching staff coached an OK without any major blunders. However, today I started asking myself why.
Why couldn't we beat a team that only had four days to prepare and were shocked by the death of a player?
Why did a team playing 3 games in 11 days beat a team playing one game in 11 days?
Why can't an offense with playmakers such as Passmore, Edmundson, Slate, Spann and an emerging QB score more that 21 points against a horrible D?
Why did our CB's play 10 yrds off the ball letting a 2nd string QB build is confidence leading to a career day?
Why is Will Albin play LB? The guy may be a great leader, but he really hurt our D last night. Sorry Will Albin fans but the guy looked pretty lost out there. Where is Booker?
Why is Legursky still at center? If his injuries are preventing good shotgun snaps then why don't him and Legget switch positions until Legursky is healthy?
Why is Edmundson still starting? The guy was responsible for an INT, an illegal block on a would be Passmore TD in the 2nd, a few dropped passes and miscommunication on the last play of the game.
Why doesn't Small play more? The guy runs harder than Marshall and doesn't fumble. Also, why hasn't Marshall been benched after his numerous fumbles?
Why does our AD feel the need to make a flyer showing the poor 1st few seasons of other head coaches? The whole story about this was bush league.
Seriously, I want answers to some of these questions. Yes, the defense is bad, but we shouldn't be 0-5 and our offense should be much better considering the talent. 0-5 can become 0-12 real quick. Ask UCF.
