  • Same here. I'm coming up for Southern Miss 0-6 or not baby! So where does one find this incredible food smoking thunder prior to the game, and whats the cost per plate....and does anyone have space at a fun tailgate since all my used to be tailgaters are bailing on this years trip...true fans dont let records stop them!!!...and also is anyone else going to stonewall resort and might be interested in a round of golf?
What do you call a place where the coaches are drunks, the players pistol whip local citizens and the fans mug and rob expecting mothers ? You call it - THE FLAGSHIP PROGRAM IN THE STATE OF WV!!! Ollie Luck AD

  • Just came back from Williamsburg, VA over the weekend from being on vacation over there last week and even the mountains, Lewisburg and Beckley, the leaves were just starting to turn.  Around here its still pretty green.  There are some Maples and Hickories that are starting to turn and a lot of leaves have already started to fall this year because of the dry hot weather we had here all summer.  I'm thinking its probably not going to be much of a fall this year but a lot can change in a week.
When "Thunderstruck" starts its too late!

The news reports indicated that leaves are about 80% in the northern part of the state, i.e. Tucker, Randolph counties.  However, my coworker was in Canaan this weekend and said it's less than <50% in most areas up that way.  I was at Pipestem State Park this past weekend and it's still mostly green there.

It'll happen fast, so this weekend should be a bit better.  I guess it depends on what part of WV you are visiting.

Yeah it's gonna come quick...they're calling for snow on Tuesday and Wednesday night night week right now.  That could change of course, but I hope it stays that way...I'm gonna be in all next week and hunting so bring on the SNOW baby.

What a bad year to bring an outsider to Huntington for football.  Especially a gator fan....

If we win, we'll all know why.  He'll have no choice but to follow the team for the rest of the season.  I mean, not that I'm superstitious or anything, lol.

  • They are down this year, and a little slower it seems due to the hotter year.

I think you will be about a week early.
