  • Both Donnan and Pruett landed a number of impact recruits from the Washington, DC Metro Area (Maryland and Northern VA included)  The area hasn't been a priority for this staff, but Illinois is sure mining gold.  By the way, the backup QB mentioned in the article went to H.D. Woodson, home of BL.

  • Plus we have a large alumni club! Seems like it's not high on the list of states.

  • MS thinks most of the Dc palyers may be a little too fast for CUSA.  We will just stick with the big ole boys from Oh, wv and Ky, that don't commit to the majors or the MAC.

  • Obviously Bobby had a lot of connections in that area. Mark may not have the relationships built there yet. Also, I think Byron perked up the ears of a lot of D 1 teams that didn't recruit the area.
