By ANTHONY HANSHEWHUNTINGTON -- Symmetry. It's the pride of every football offensive coordinator.Marshall University's Larry Kueck is approaching just that behind a suddenly healthy offensive line. The Thundering Herd has topped 180 yards rushing the past two games, playing well off a consistent passing attack.A new season standard was set Oct. 2 at Memphis with 185 rushing yards (quarterback Bernard Morris threw for 220). Led by Darius Marshall and Chubb Small last week at Tulsa, the Herd compiled 184 ground yards against 260 through the air.Despite the past two performances, the Thundering Herd is averaging just 118 rushing yards, underscoring struggles through the season's opening four games. This week's challenge is significant, a physical Southern Miss defense featuring a pair of playmaking tackles and three active linebackers.Marshall (0-6, 0-2 Conference USA) hosts the Golden Eagles (3-3, 2-1) at 8 p.m. Sunday. ESPN will televise the game.
