    • It's a shame ideas like this aren't coming from our athletic dept.  Have you guys noticed that anything we want done the fans have to do it ourselves? That is pathetic effort on the part of our AD. They should be one step ahead of us. Sad when the fans are showing up the people who have degrees in this stuff.

    • the flyer indicates the game is on espn2. when i set my dvr to record the game lastnight it was on espn.

    which is it?

    In general your criticism is valid and I agree with you.  It would be better if things like this originated from the administration rather from the bottom up. However I can see at least two things to be happy about.

    The lesser of those is at least the Administration picked up on the idea and adopted it. They’ve not just promoted the idea with flyers; they’re providing support in the form of some free t-Shirts and pop-poms.

    Secondly, and far more important in my opinion, is the fact that even if the administration sucks and falls down on the job we’ve got f an base that cares and comes through, even in dark times like the present.
