some of you fans would rather make excuses than be pissed over the losing. After every loss we hear.... this game didn't hurt us....let's put it behind us because we WILL win next week...We didn't look bad on defense (although we gave up 335 yds RUSHING alone) PLEEZE!!!! Some of your expectations have become so low, it is going to KILL the FTB program at Marshall. All some of you think about is getting to 6-6 and that pissy little mean nothing small time BOWL we would get. I got news for you.....HALF of all teams make it to a BOWL now. I want to be a Fresno St or BYU or a 99 Marshall #10 team. Some of you live in fantasy land when it comes to how good we really are. And then at the same time brush off every loss just wanting to get that 6-6 commode BOWL game. Which is it? Are we as googd as some of you act like we are? Or are  we just happy to win 6 out of 12 games? I think some of you would rather win CUSA by DEFAULT (because other teams keep losing) rather than Marshall actually having a team that is kicking peoples a$$. I would rather see ECU, UCF, Memphis and the rest be tough as nails and win the CUSA than to be excited that they lose so we can stay in the race. But i guess if we can win the CUSA at 6-6 and get a smalltime Bowl bid we are tough team? BULLCRAP!!!! We have not beat anyone worth a darn yet. And got smoked by the TWO teams that are decent. Those are the FACTS so quit acting like we are on the verge of being so good. We didn't even look like a FTB team out there against WV. We looked HORRIBLE in every way EXCEPT returning kickoffs. And thank you coach Stewart for not making it 34-3 on that last play.

I have made this comment from when we hired Mark Snyder as our Head football coach and I will continue to make the same statement;
"WHEN DONNAN LEFT THE PROGRAM IT WAS LOADED FOR PRUETT, BUT WHEN PRUETT LEFT OUR PROGRAM IT WAS LEFT AS BARE AS OLE MOTHER HUBBARDS CUPBOARD!"
We are making improvements, no we have not looked good in our 2 losses,but they really did NOT hurt us.
Given time, as in next year, Mark Snyder WILL make this program proud once again !!!!!

Sure he will. You do know he is in season FOUR right? And he still stinks as a coach. It sure doesn't make us PROUD to try a FG in the 4th quarter down by 3 scores. Guess what, we would still need 3 scores. I know we needed to give our FG kicker cpnfidence on that chip shot...LOL!!! But he didn't want to give our FG kicker that chance against Ill St on 4th and 7. What a play that was that gained ZERO yards. This guy is scared to death to try and when. He plays scared, always has, and always will. Remember that "suck your thumb" call to kick that FG before the half last year against WV with 10 seconds left on 3rd down? It's continous. And the excuses are getting old, especially after 4 years. I sure hope they don't keep him for ten more years. I can still hear it after 14 seasons.....That dang B Pruett is the cause of Snyders problems....LMAO!!!!

I stood behind Jirsa mainly because almost nobody supported him from day ONE. But isn't it funny how some of you are STILL in love with Snyder and his IDIOTIC game day decisions and teams that are not even close to being PREPARED on game day. We have beat 2 piss poor CUSA teams and a HORRIBLE 1AA team. And some of you thought we were "bigtime" again...LOL!!! The only 2 teams we played that were decent, we got WAXED!!!!

Last year my motto was "Bag the Snyder!" - you may have seen me wearing the Snyder potato chip bag over my head if we hadn't won some of the those last games.
This year my motto is "TEABAG the Snyder!" and if he doesn't start stepping up and coaching like he has some balls - he's going to get what the motto implies!!!!!!!

I'm saying the guy never got a fair shake from the beginning. Not like Snyder....who will get YEARS and then still it's all Pruett's fault after Snyder has all his players and still can't get it done. I guess it's Pruett's fault that we get delay of penalty calls after timeouts and the first play of a game. I gues it's Pruett's fault that Snyder is to Chicken $hit to run another play last year with 20 seconds left before halftime against WV OR  afraid to go for it down by 3 touchdowns in the fourth quarter this year? And on and on. LOL!!!!
