Pena is going to be AWESOME. He may not look like a great athlete but he is one heck of a "basketball" player. Great BB IQ. If some of you remember the Huck years, he reminds me of Dewayne Lewis. He just does everything well and seems like he is in on every play. Great competitor and he has a big body for that 3 spot. And what about Lutz? That guy can shoot the 3. Powell and Spann are workhorses. Pitts is going to be very good once he gets totally comfortable. What i like about him is he is a PG that can score and take the pressure off the 2G. If we can stay away from injuries and get Humphrey and Wilkerson back we will be really good come Conference time. And from what i hear the 6-11 kid we got a verbal from today is going to be bigtime. And don't forget we have 6-10 Spikes sitting out that is another tremendous athlete. Jones said Spikes reminds him of a young Joah-Kim Noah (sp). Goode has 3 years left, Spikes 3 years, White 4 years and Whiteside . That is some pretty god athletes and size in the post. Again Pena will be an absolute star before he leaves Marshall because he just knows how to play the game. He doesn't play like a freshman. He makes things happen instead of waiting on them to happen. It just seems like he is in the right place all the time. The big question is how long it will take to gell as a team. But it looks like every year is just going to get better and better from here. WOW!!!!

I dont like 50% of our shots being 3's.  I know we have shooters but tht is way to high of a percentage.

I agree. But 2 things. They were packing in a tight zone and we didn't have Markel and Wilkerson in there. But anytime Lutz oe Pitts is open, i say they should let it fly.
