You can't put insurance on it and it is such an expensive phone. If something happens to it, the only way to replace it is pay the 500 retail value. They are great and have an endless amount of fun/efficient/helpful apps. Don't use the gps, better off to buy a garmin. It doesn't talk to you, so you have to watch it to see where to turn, and that can be tricky in a big city with lots of traffic, especially if you are alone. I have now purchased an ipod touch. I get all of the fun from the iphone with the apps and mp3 player, but stick with a blackberry for my pda/email/on the go internet usage.
