  • for Iran, or would it be more of the same BS?

  • It won't really matter. The president is a puppet for the ayatollahs. The president's opinion or actions in Iran are straw man...

  • It's true that the Supreme Leader is more powerful than the President. However, the role and power of the President position in Iran has become more powerful over the years, than it has in the past. If these wonderful protests keep building; Khamenei, who has been supreme leader since 1989, may have to sacrifice Ahmadinejad or sacrifice himself. It’s really gotten to the point where people are calling for the head of Khamenei. This is unprecedented in the last 20 years. What’s been amazing is they haven’t dissuaded people from going in to the streets. Historically, when the regime has announced that the Basiege and the Revolutionary Guard are authorized to use force to shoot people, that would quell the protests. Not this time.
