Considering the number of WVU related threads that are here on a weekly basis this is just as good of a place to get WVU news as any WVU board.

The African American spin was awesome, what a way to deflect. I don't know too many parents anywere able to buy a $40,000 vehicle for their son, moreless themselves. Just a question of numbers.

1.) An '08 Dodge Charger wouldn't cost close to 40k.

2.) But you do know parents that could afford the car for their child and you're making assumptions that this particular kid couldn't.

3.)  I knew high school students in one of the poorest areas of the state that drove similarly expensive or nicer cars.  I knew a lot more college students that had just as nice or a nicer car.  Instead of thinking for a moment that his parents or a relative bought him the car because, even though they're black and from NY, they could afford it the WVU-obsessed group here jumps to conclusions and starts the phyco-stalker running to the DMV/getting court documents/telling the NCAA talk.

4.) There is no African American spin.  Questioning how a "%^)#@ from NY" can afford such a car caries racial undertones any person that isn't blindly obsessed with WVU can see.

Just looking over the first page there were two about sports and one about your moronic hilljack fan base.  Go over on the woodshed and see how many posts are about Marshall.  Once again you say we are obsessed yet youre the one on a Marshall message board.

The woodshed is a smacktalk board.  Not an on-topic board.  Regardless, that isn't the point.  I couldn't care less what goes on there anyway as its not he topic here.  I simply pointed out that the same group of posters are here posting about WVU on a weekly basis and I'm sure there's some Marshall fans that are tired of seeing such an obsession with a school that isn't even in your conference and has nothing to do with getting the football program headed back in the right direction. 

Marshall has bigger problems than WVU and there are some very intelligent posters here that realize it and want to do something about it.  Yet the only topic that certain group of people wants to discuss is anything WVU related.  Some people were probably willing to do more work doing a DMV and court records check on a WVU basketball player than they'd be willing to do to support the team they're a fan of.

If you consider me obsessed based on my few posts here or me simply looking over here every once in awhile then so be it.  I can live with it.  However, I can guarantee that if I was worried whether or not WVU's president was running our athletic program into the ground, the fact that WVU didn't have a baseball field for its team, if our coach was going to turn things around and if not would we be able to afford buying him out, and whether or not the new athletic director was simply going to be a puppet for the previously mentioned president I wouldn't be posting about Marshall players or making fun of their fans on the WVU board.
