  • Did anyone else notice that nearly every conference listed has more televised games than CUSA and not one single conference has fewer games scheduled to be televised than CUSA.  The Big East, Mountain West Conference, and Sun Belt all have the same number of games as CUSA scheduled to be televised.

The Big East has fewer teams and therefore games available to be televised than CUSA but has the same number of games scheduled to be televised.  So the Big East actually has a larger percentage of their games being televised than CUSA.

The Mountain West Conference (MWC) has it’s own television network and still managed to televise the same number of games as CUSA with 3 of their 4 televised games being picked up by other networks.  No problems with pesky television network contracts when the conference owns the network.

Finally, the Sun Belt is, well, the Sun Belt.  Yet, even the newest Div. I-A conference with the least known teams managed to have the same number of games televised as CUSA.

To add salt to the wound one of the two games being televised is ECUs game against I-AA Appy State.  One of the other games being picked up in CUSA to be televised is UTEP vs. Buffalo.  Which brings me to my next point, even the MAC has more games being televised than CUSA.

    The CUSA television contract STINKS.
