So it looks like we have a lot of 50/50 "fans" (I use that term very loosely) on this board. Who are those who give their FULL support to MARSHALL?!

If you are a 50/50, or a 75/25, or a 99/1 guy, please do not comment.

I am 100% Herd and 100% Illinois, unless the Herd in playing the Illini, in which I then become 100% Herd and 0% Illini. So, I meet the criteria of 360 by being 100% Herd, but I also meet common sense and reason that proves full support can be applied equally to more than one entity - like two kids in sports at the same time, full support to both. See, it's all good.

So if you had a dollar how much would you give to the Herd and how much would you give to Illinois?

Common sense, reason, and simple math suggests that FULL support can not be applied to two of anything. What ever support you give to one, you would be taking away from the other.

OK, it's time to "nip this sh*t in the bud" There are Herd fans on here, who's going to support both Marshall and wvu its just the way it is. Personally, I'll take all the support, I can get from all fans. A lot of these fans have degrees from both schools. Asked yourself, what if your son or nephew or any other kin played sports for wvu, would you not cheer for your family member? Keep it real! Im a die hard "Herd fan period".. I challenge anyone to say they are more of a "Herd fan than me?" You might be my equal, but Im a "true, Herd green blood fan" I never cheer for the eers,, but if my daughter or nephews played sports there, I would be cheering for them to do well.

That is silly. There is no definition for the concept of full support. I had two daughters in basketball at the same time and both received my full and equal support. Full support to both, time spent with one did not reduce the full support provided to the other. Neither was denied time nor support required to be devoted fully to each. Imagine that. No matter how much you want to frame it - in that constraining way in which you see things - common sense and reason are not confined to your view of what can or cannot be.

I am 100% a Herd fan...I will say, however, that I don't hate WVU any more than I do Memphis, ECU, or any other opponent. That other board started going downhill when everyone started nit-picking at each other. Everyone needs to be sure this one remains a great board to visit and not one where every other thread or post is WVU this and WVU that and questioning the loyalty of fans who have bled green as long as some here have been alive. There is a group here who are starting to act like Blue Lot-ers. The obsession is embarassing...I only hope that WVU fans don't visit and see how much of their time and effor these guys dedicate to them.

If Holiday - who went to WVU, played football for WVU, coached at WVU for 20+ years over two terms, and who I am sure has players "up there" who he loves dearly and who undoubtedly has more friends and family who are WVU fans than MU fans - were on this board, he would have been run off by now.
