  • Nothing like a well written testimonial to Big Time College football.

  • There is NO big time college football played in Morganhole..  The difference in Big Esat and any other BCS conference is as wide as an ocean.  The only good thing about wvu winning the Big East and going to BCS bowl is, they, like Pitt last year, will get blown out and the BCS will take away the Big East automatic bid.
Today, I consider myself, the luckiest man on the face of the earth..

  • Glad to hear it Bill. Just remember, from an akorn a mighty oak tree grows. Maybe this will be the catalyst that turns around the behavior of the boorish, violent thugs that pervade in Morgantown. Next home game maybe we can get two testimonials and before you know it Morgantown will become a typical college venue as opposed to the shithole it is now.

We are proud and have tradtionaly won games like today when our backs are against the wall. We've done it against Flutie ( 2 times). We did at Oklahoma. We've done it against Miami. We've done it against Penn State. We've done it against very good Pitt and Syrcuse Teams. We've done it against both Brohm brothers. The Media might have disrespected us based on the name being West Virginia, but make no mistake abou it, West Virginia football as it always has been will be proud. We don't roll over. We don't give up and we certainly don't concede we are inferior to ANY program. We aren't happy just being "there".

Again, welcome to the Big East!

Good grief man have you lost your mind?

The only 2 programs with any kind of BCS caliber "storied" tradition in this pitiful league are Pitt and Syracuse. Those 2 programs have both National Titles and Hiesman Trophy winners. Unfortunetly they stink right now.

WE were the hope for the Big East this year...just like we "saved" the league some more BCS time last year...but we are turning out to be nothing but a mid-major team just like you are. We are sometimes comically bad.

That means that the Big East is nothing more than CUSA or the MAC with an undeserving BCS bid.

    Get a grip on reality

  • I'm very surprised that marcbuff hasn't come on to tell us what a great day this is in West Virginia because of his beloved Pouties and "the greatest comeback in West Virginia history"...

  • Complain all you want herd fans, but WVU is 6-1 in both major polls and barring a major collapse, heading to a BCS bowl.

And you don't have to like it, then again you aren't in charge so what you do like or don't like is irrelevant, but the Big East has an automatic bid and most likely will keep it.  CUSA on the other hand seems to be going the other way.

Btw, I caught your game on channel 255 (Direct TV) and I've seen better production for local high school games.

I will say that was a good win over UAB.
