Just bought season tickets for the first time in the last 3 years. I have been slacking, I know....but I didn't want to waste money on Snyder's teams. I live too far away to travel up and see us get consistently beat. However, that is in the past.

Anyhow, since I'll be coming up for 3 ( or more ) games this year, I would like to see the Screechy Band Lady replaced.

We have a new PA system, a new scoreboard, etc. The Screechy Band Lady MUST GO !!!

Frank Gardinia was in Charlotte Tuesday preparing for Wed Meetings with ESPN...Hopefully good things will come out of that.  I mentioned two things to him - 1. Screechy lady (he says she's the wife of an Ass't Director) and 2. No more "Country Roads", please.  He said he has heard about both a LOT already.  No commitments one way or the other, tho.

This.  For that matter the whole band routine could use a freshening.  I appreciate how hard those young people work...it has seemed like the directors have sort of phoned it in over the last few seasons.

It would be worth it to hire a professional promotions company to design a really cool entrance program for the games. The band lady is absolute bush league IMO.

The announcer is the wife of the assistant director, a man who is very influential within the music department.  She isn't going anywhere unless it is her choice.

IIRC, the lady is the wife of Dr. Ben Miller.  Dr. Miller is the assistant director of the marching band and director of the pep band.

Glad you are back on board Herd Chemist. I was with you on Snyder, after decades of season tickets I could not handle another year of that stuff. Am looking forward to the trips to Huntington again.

When I am given a job waiting tables at hooters, and all of you guys come in, and request to sit at my table and tip me well, I will clap with the MALE twirler.  I dont care if someone else has a problem with him for reasons involving his sexuality, that is their opinion.  I want to see a sexy girl in spandex throwing her leg up in the air not a guy with shaved legs.  I also wish the world wasnt so damn politically correct and that I wasnt just expected to support a male twirler.  IMO males are stronger and most times for some reason naturally more athletic than women...  So look at it this way, it makes it unfair for the women and takes an opportunity away from them.  Or how about we require him to get some 20 lb strap on boobs so that he has to overcome the same obstacles as a woman when catching that baton!!

Don't know why it's so hard anymore for males to act like men.

WE ARE PUMPED UP TO SEE THE HERD PLAY - ELECTRICITY FILLS THE AIR - THE EXCITEMENT IS GROWING - and then the band lady speaks, and all emotion/adrenaline is ripped from the fans. The moment she utters one word, the stadium goes flat.
