Topic: Should we make a forum dedicated to all WVU stuff??

It seems that we have enough things on here dedicated to WVU to warrant this.
Seems like every 3rd thread on here is something WVU.
Having a forum dedicated to that would make it easier for the ones who fill the need to constantly talk about them.
Just click on forum, post your thread, and converse with others there who like talking about them as well.

What is so wrong with Herd fans popping off about wvu?  We play them and they are in the same state, so they are an obvious topic.  What you don't see on this board is eerdiots themselves overrunning our site.  When they do show up here they do it masquerading as Herd fans...when they are snuffed out they are gone.

The only thing that could improve this site is a dedicated forum for those that can't stop talking about WVU. This would leave the main forum dedicated to Marshall.

Why ever go to their board?  We play them once a year in football, and not for long it seems, and once a year in basketball.  Neither game mean anything in the long run.  Neither game counts towards our winning a conference championship and if we lose either game, we lose nothing in respect to rankings because we are expected to lose to them.  I expect for us to beat them, but from a national perspective, it means nothing rankings-wise.

I'm so tired of hearing about them I can't stand it.

Those 3 posts all got +1 because they are dead on.  If you don't like the content of a thread, don't comment on it...hell, do read it if the title doesn't interest you, whether it's about them or some other topic.  But to start segmenting the board is one of, if not the, dumbest things I've heard suggested.

Ok, I believe this may have started because I started a stupid joke post about a WVU grad. Was it stupid, yes. I was thinking about retracting it after I sent it, but,what the hey. Merely posting on a forum that I like to post on, beause I graduiated from MU, have 2 kids that I hope do the same as they are there now. I am not the Heisman poster here, but, does that matter? If someone is new, someone posts something that you feel is out of line for this site, who are you to judge what people post. Freedom of speech, why limit the board to what some want to see posted, why discourage people to post what they want, act like a moderator on a board that we all have a commonality from the respect we cheer for The Herd. The more, the merrier. JMHO!

No, there is no reason to devote a section to the fighting jesscos. However I wish the mods would ban the eers on here much sooner. I throw my jabs all the time , and usually when I do the negative karma points pile up...whist means we have eers paying to be on the board.

I very much doubt this thread was a result of your post. The suggestion to have a separate thread is a result of hundreds of front and center WVU threads that seem to increase over time. The concept of separate forums for specific purposes as already been established. It makes sense to have one dedicated to love and appreciation of Marshall/The Herd and one dedicated to providing a WVU obsession outlet.

I find that hard to believe... according to the overwhelming majority of their fans we are not a rival. We are insignificiant and irrelevant.  ::)

I agree Bob, this topic was started right after you posted the joke.  I personally liked your joke so much I made it my facebook status. It was funny, far from stupid. And also thanks for the karma point wvmafia, see we don't disagree on everything.
