They have them at Hometown. SWEET! The black outline around the numbers is thicker and they have "The Herd" above the numbers in the style of writing that they use to write it in the grass in the south endzone. They are really cool. They are Nike and the owner of Hometown said they were the authentic jerseys like the team will be wearing this season.

I hope it's not the outdated script that's leaning with the "ripped" lettering , that needs to go .Block lettering works best in everything , old school baby .

Definately NOT "the authentic jerseys like the team will be wearing this season." Just the normal cheap Nike replicas. Aaron Dobson posted a picture of it on twitter

I don't have any problem with the lettering but I'm not a big fan of the black trim around the sleeves and neck. IMO, it looks out of place and should be white.

Black and green just don't go well together. To me it just blends together and looks dark, especially in person. White would make the script, the number and the nike swoosh pop.

Jim Donnan added the black , I've always loved the black and Kelly along with white mixed in,....it's just good to have kelly back after such a long wait.

I've always thought we should add a wide steeler type black stripe on the uni pants with white outline, and go with black and kelly socks and black cleats

The most hideous uni I've EVER seen was WVUs banana unis, rich rod must have missed his betty ford outpatient therapy the week he thought those up! They couldve used some black dont you think herdkellie?

I've herd this year WVu may go back to the light blue unis which are the states true colors funny thing is the reason isn't TH don't want to look like Meechegan anymore, it's because Holgerson wants to use the colors on the top of the grey goose vodka bottle!!!! 8) 8)[float=left]

Thanks for posting firetdawg , I agree w you n hillbilly, those are the baddest looking replicas I've ever seen come from NIKE, and I love that script the herd, looks awesome!

If someone would ever post them on- line maybe we OOTers might be able to buy one...oh that makes too much cents! Must be a reason for it, linked to chuck landon somehow, that guys ruins everything! 8)

YOU buy ALL the Marshall uniforms. You can design them ANY WAY you want too.
If you want to put your favorite logo and scheme on there, I wouldn't complain one bit.

But until you actually do something siginificant in that regard and/or make more of a motion to get the things you want instead of writing e-mails...

SHUT UP AND BE HAPPY KELLY IS ACTUALLY BACK!

Goodness...they actually could keep the old style logo and sub in white instead of black and some small group of you would complain.

How about this website unite and pool their donations to Marshall for a specific thing?
This place was sooooo mad about Kelly Green being taken away that all they could feel they could do was huff and puff and write about it on forums.

Instead of that, you could've pooled money together SPECIFICALLY for the uniforms to bring back the Kelly Green look or some old logo.
You feel you have the right to complain because you give money to Marshall.
You really don't since it's a donation and could go anywhere...even to something wvu related which would have you all irate as hell...but it could very well be going there!
Your donation check isn't specified to where it goes...even the Big Green check you write isn't always going to the football program...it's going where it needs to go for the sports.

Until you do, it's not worth you to complain or even tell Marshall to "get rid of that look" because honeestly, the color of the uniforms was probably about #93 on a 100 item list of things that need looking at.

Herd Fans get off of Marshallguy04 back for telling the truth. We need to stay with our Kelly Green and White. A little black trim, but not on the sleeves and neck of our jersey.

Every jersey Nike has made in the past have been pretty damn close to what the team wears on the field. I don't know what in the hell you are talking about. Because they are being sold at the Bookstore for about $40 bucks. I have one I got at the fantasy camp a few years ago and believe me it isnt what the team wears. The ones the teams wear are heavy duty, reinforced and tailor fitted so they cannot be grabbed easily. The cheap things you are talking about are the equivalent of what teams wore in the 80's.
