After reading several posts predicting the overall record for 2011, I thought it may be interesting to see the results of this simple poll.

Six wins to get bowl eligible is possible with this schedule, but we cannot have any missteps like we did last year against Bowling Green. IF we lose to WVU, then the team cannot have a one to two week hangover like they have in other years. I know it sounds cliche, but the team has to treat it as just another game. However as fans, we can treat it like the end of the world!!!

I said no bowl. Lack of a proven QB and offensive line questions are my reasons. I think we'll be better but too many obstacles imho.

If we don't go bowling we might as well have held on to Snyder....much cheaper and he at least got the team to be bowl eligible.

I said no bowl

-- no QB, suspect offensive line (at best), continual off-field problems and dismissals. I hate to say it but we will start out 0-3 and never recover.

If we win 3 games I will be SHOCKED! I honestly don't see a game on the schedule we should win, and I would say the same thing if we had 3 I-AA schools on the schedule. I'm not trying to be an @$$. I truly believe, all things considered (schedule, heart, charactor, coaching, talent, past success - or lack thereof, spring game), that this will be the year we bottom out. I really think we'll end up having another FB coach before we really are "good" again.

If we were in the Southern Conference we probably wouldn't win more than 5. I'm not bashing the team, and I know noone wants to hear that, but that's just the reality of our situation right now in FB.

On our schedule I see one game we should unquestionably win and one we should without a doubt lose. That leaves a lot of wiggle room, but we need to come to compete.

Having seen some of Furmans spring practice we would win more than 5 games in the Socon.

Went 5-7 last year... Build off of that. Got to do the same or better IMO. Otherwise the season is a failure.

I know there are question marks at QB and the O-Line, but we pay the coaches big bucks to develop players. It's time to put up the results or get gone.

I sure hope that a lot of you guys are wrong. I thought that we hit bottom under Snyder but if what some are predicting only a 3 or 4 win season then Doc is not and will not be the right coach. He took over a program that won 7 games and last year only won 5. If he backslides to even fewer wins this season then that signals a major problem.

I believe we will be a surprise team and win 7 or 8 games.
