    • I've had a40 cu ft dumpster in my drive for 14 days and me and my sister and two sons have put a lot of trash n it(wife was a horder) and I dont have an excuse either. On top of that I have a 40x40 garden going with 65 tomato plants and 9 other veggies not counting ten contaner plants on my drive that have to be watered every day. I've sweated enough the last two weeks to last me a lifetime. Mow my yard with a danged push mower....rider here I come.

    • When I was a kid I can remember about 4 of us boys being hauled around in 95 degree weather in the back of a 73 El Camino with a topper on it, with my nose pressed up against the side screen vent trying to catch a whiff of air and keep from being asphyxiated from the carbon monoxide and fumes all while sitting in a puddle of my own sweat.

    It's summer, rub some ice on it and move on.  ;D

    • My Dad would say hotter than a 2 dollar pistol. My fiberglass pool is getting refinished. Since Tuesday they have been sanding, painting, sanding again and next sealing. Power went off for about 30 minutes. When it came back on they almost cried. I have been chucking them water bottles every few hours.

    That's hilarious!!!  I have the same experience except it was a 1977 El Camino! Dad would tap on the back glass to make sure we were all still alive or he would swerve and jostle us all to one side to make sure we "were still awake."

    I tell my wife these stories and she says I was abused as a child.  ;)  So, sadly, I'll probably never get to do that to my kids.  :(

    • Some of the jobs I go to are extreamly hot. Cutting into a 3000 degree glass tank that looks like looking at the sun to repair the firebrick inside. I am doing a job here locally the next couple weeks building a large garage and I got just as hot Monday and Wednesday as I ever have on a glass job. It is smokin here and anyone that has the misfortune of having to work out in it needs to be very careful and just get out of it when you need to.

    I lived in EXTREMELY HOT ARIZONA, for 8 and half years..It was global warming there pretty much year round.. LOL  :P
