Memphis and UAB both are 1-7, and the one thing you can say about the Herd is it’s handled the lesser teams it’s played. That leaves Marshall needing to at least split the Houston and East Carolina games. No Texas-based team has won in Huntington, so if that streak holds, the Herd enters its final game in Greenville, N.C. already at six wins.
 
Now, if Houston snaps Texas schools’ oh-fer-Huntington like Marshall snapped its oh-fer-Texas streak this year versus Rice, the mood changes. Then it’s do-or-die in North Carolina. Would the Herd be up for that pressure?

We will beat Memphis badly.  We will lose to Houston, for sure.  We will probably beat UAB, but it's no guarantee.  I've seen ECU play a few times this year.  They are bad.  Bad.  We should beat them, but I have my doubts.  2-2.  We will lose one of the road games...not sure which.  More likely UAB.

I'd bet money that we beat UAB.  They gave up 55 points to a Tulane team that was averaging less than 13 points a game  :o

We'll give up a ton of points to UAB but I don't see how they keep us under 50-60 points.  The Tulane QB had all day to throw to wide open wide receivers.  He broke a school record.  Cato will feast against UAB's defense.  And Tulane only averages about 40 yards a game rushing (they got their first rushing TD on the season against UAB).

There is no way I would consider any game easy for this team.  We have 3 wins against poor teams including an FCS school.  I don't see us finishing better than 5-7.  I will be at the two last home games and at ECU but I just don't see this team getting it done.

For some reason I feel like this team plays better on the road. I'm hoping to see us win out but I see us beating Memphis, uab, and Houston, losing to ecu.

I agree with that...well the last part. Not sure I'm ready to say we'll win all four.

It depends on which Herd team shows up.  The one that played at Purdue and Southern Miss or the one that crapped its pants against UCF.  We could easily destroy Memphis.  We could also fart around and lose.  This team doesn't have consistent character.
