Their backs are up against the wall. The way they played (or didn't play) against ucf I don't see any of the remaining games as locks. Do you think Holliday will turn this team around and get them bowl eligible?

Well the next two teams are both 1-7. They suck. We win those two and then at worst split the last two.

3-1 minimum very likely 4-0. That doesn't mean Doc improved, it does mean the schedule is easy from here on out.

Almost well played green steve.  I have been on Doc a while without totally giving up.  Despite his poor job I would say he exceeds four wins and likely gets to 6.  Doc can beat crappy teams and that's what we have the rest if the way. 

I have been in record with 8 or gate so maybe we aren't that far off but my guess is steve has jumped gun a bit

I can easily see 3-1 to finish and expect 4-0.  Frankly, it is on the player's backs to tackle, to catch balls, to make blocks, etc.  Not blowing smoke up Holiday's A$$ but, for instance, we did contain So Miss on 10 kickoffs and used the same scenario vs. UCF but no one tackled.  It is a personnel driven game.

When the season started I said we would go 7-5. So far I haven't missed a game and I predicted we would win the next 4 games. I'm pretty confident that we will beat Memphis and UAB, but Houston and ECU are iffy.

5-7....very disappointed in Doc because we had the personel to go at least 8-4 this season.

I predicted 7-5 and a NOLA Bowl win for 8-5 total. Thats STILL doable. I had us 4-4 at this point. Thats being said. I didnt count on the offense being this prolific and the defense and special teams being this BAD. We beat Memphis and squeek by UAB. Lose to Houston in a shootout and lose to ECU for bowl eligibility. Finish 5-7 = very diappointing.

Even though Ripoff and Doc built the defense to play against teams like Houston, we will not be able to stop them. Rippoff will drop everyone in coverage, play soft and Simms their very good RB will have a field day.

2013 - Doc will redeem himself with a rebuilt defense and a very soft schedule that would rival our early MAC days for easiest in history. THE 2013 team goes 9-3 with a CUSA championship and its all fluffy bunnies and rainbows again over the Schewey!

I predicted a 7-5 record. Right now, 6-6 is more likely, but 7-5 is still doable. This is how I see the rest of the schedule:

We will beat the piss out of Memphis.  I get a strong feeling you're going to see The Herd take out some frustration on Memphis.  They are bad.  I watched them play ECU, and frankly, they suck.  Good D line, two big receivers.  Otherwise, they suck. 

I think ECU is pretty bad too.  Nice young QB, but runs for his life on every down.  Their D is not nearly as good as advertised.  Houston is much better than their record.  We will lose that game.  UAB is not great.  We will win one of ECU or UAB, not sure which.  Probably ECU, as our guys will play better in front of that big crowd than at UAB.

Frankly, I think The Herd, when they play well, is better than ANY team in CUSA, including UCF.  I therefore think they should win every remaining game.  They won't.  They will go 2-2, beating the hell out of Memphis.

Sad part about it, MEM on Sat is not a 100% guarantee win.  They might be 1-7 but last year they were 2-8 when we played and they won the game until the very end. It will be a close game.  Doc had better get some excuses ready in case he might need a few.
