Topic: My biggest regret this year....

Not getting the damm flu shot!.....I have the full-blown flu.   This is day 3 and it's still a 8 out of 10 level of discomfort...I had a 101.8 fever for 2 days then my fever broke and I have been sweating and freezing at the same time.....

My little nephew gave it to me, my wife and oldest son on thanksgiving...The little a-hole was coughing all over the place and his mom said he had bronchitis last week and it wasn't contagious....

Well, he had the freakin flu and he's so young it didn't knock him on his butt enough for his mom to know...

So far 7 adults and 2 kids that were at the dinner have the flu....3 in my house right now....

Here's the only real point to this story...My middle son and daughter had the flu shot (nasal injection) and they haven't had even the slightest sign or symptoms and they sat on the same couch and played video games with him and rode in the SUV with 3 sick people for hours....

and after speaking to others at the dinner...no one that got the flu shot (about 10 people) became sick....

Moral to the story, get the flu shot, if you value your health and don't want a week of extreme misery....
