coached D all time in the SEC, and although he has never been a coordinator, it is a reason to entice him to leave the SEC for cUSA.  David a smart guy (Davidson college grad) has been around and I am sure can bring something to us.  Heck it will be hard to do much worse!!

Someone said they thought Mike Cassity had been hanging around town.  Was here from 2009-2011 as def backs coach before going to UK.  23 years Div 1 DC experience including Illinois' 2001 Big Ten Champion team and 3 years at Louisville - CUSA champs, BE champs, Orange Bowl winner

I was surprised when Cassity was here as a position coach; would be an interesting hire for sure.  I think he worked here with Mentor; both brought in by Snyder.  Snyder should have know good defensive coaching talent when he saw it.  Of course, so should Doc.
